The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that Garth Brooks is planning a world tour in the fall 2014, his first since 1998. Hotel developer Steve Wynn confirmed the news Saturday, which was the closing date of Garth’s 180-show run at the Wynn’s Encore Theater.

Garth’s Vegas deal included the use of a private jet, which he gets to keep. Steve said, “He gets the plane. He did what he was supposed to do. We’re square.”

Steve added that he has talked with director Martin Scorsese about helming Garth’s live show. A CBS executive was also in Sin City to catch one of the last concerts this weekend.

Garth returns to the Wynn this winter for a special one-off performance of his Vegas show.

Garth announced his retirement from the road in 2000, promising he wouldn't stage another tour until his youngest daughter Allie graduates from high school. She graduates in 2014.
