The beautiful voice of Alison Krauss is out of commission ... at least for a little while. Alison was recently diagnosed with dysphonia, a chronic condition which causes a person to be unable to sing. One of the treatments is vocal rest. "We anticipate a smooth, quick recovery given proper treatment and adequate rest," Alison said in a release. It's unclear how long Alison will be out of commission, but it's not expected to be very long. Shania Twain is probably the most famous fellow sufferer of dysphonia. She suffered with it for years before finally recovering before heading to Las Vegas for her show.
